Management company International Yacht Register has announced a whopper of a discount aboard a major motoryacht, the 192-foot Lurssen Capri.
The yacht's regular weekly base rate for the "high season" month of July in the Mediterranean is €290,000, but a discounted rate of €150,000 is being offered for a specific date range.
That's a discount of nearly 50 percent, being promoted just a few weeks before the Western Mediterranean high season begins.
The special offer aboard Capri is for the last week of June into early July, with the charter starting in Taormina, Sardinia, or Corsica and ending in the South of France. Typically, restrictions of this nature indicate that the yacht's owner needs to move the boat to a certain place at a certain time and is looking to drum up charter business along the way.
